These long-standing alliances are forged with a commitment to excellence and a high degree of mutual trust and respect. |
Rather than developing wall-to-wall subdivisions, the Oxbridge Team optimizes the use of land parcels, positioning commercial and residential sites at a respectful proximity to the surrounding natural environment. In 2002, Oxbridge was recognized by the Prince William County, Virginia "Partners for the Potomac" and awarded the Environmental Stewardship Award for its excellence in preserving trees, creating stream buffers, and using exemplary practices to reduce run-off and water pollution. Oxbridge was also granted the Golden Shovel Award in October 2001 for contributing to the beautification of the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland. Oxbridge contributes to the communities in which it operates not only as a developer, but also as a community service activist. On several occasions, Oxbridge has worked with Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing for families who would not otherwise be able to realize their dream of home ownership.
