Sami Totah
President and Founder
Sami Totah founded The Oxbridge Group in 1998. He maintains personal responsibility for contributing equity funds, raising equity funds, financing projects, negotiating the acquisition and sale of properties, developing and/or building improvements, and supervising the Oxbridge team of professionals.
Mr. Totah was Managing Partner and Co-founder of Charleston Homes, a home-building company that built approximately 100 houses per year in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. He was involved in financing, home construction, and the acquisistion and sale of property.
In 1971, Mr. Totah co-founded the Quad Group of America, a land development company. As president of Quad, he was responsible for all aspects of land development, including rezoning, administrative approvals, engineering development and sales of land to builders. The Quad Group developed over 10,000 lots in the Washington metropolitan area.
Mr. Totah was executive Vice President of Prince George's Metro Center, Inc. for 27 years (October 1971 through October 1998), supervising 150 employees. Prince George's Metro Center, based in Hyattsville, Maryland, consists of over one million square feet of office space and 464 apartment units. Over the years his responsibilities included supervision of all leasing activity which included private, federal and state tenants; supervision of property management, zoning, financing, and sales; structuring transactions, and supervising strategic economic and fiscal studies.
